Ledley King has laughed off claims of a 'crisis' at Spurs in the wake of their recent slump in form which has left them facing a real fight to finish in the top four this season.
Harry Redknapp's side looked certainties in the sports betting to make it into the top four just a few weeks ago and were even being talked about as potential title challengers at the turn of the year, such was their impressive Premier League form.
However, a recent poor run has seen Spurs slip up several times - with last Sunday's defeat at home to Norwich the latest aberration - and now the north Londoners are level with in-form Newcastle on 59 points and just two ahead of Chelsea in sixth as the battle for the Champions League places hots up.
To make things worse, Spurs where thrashed 5-1 by London rivals Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
Defender King insists talk of a crisis in the camp is off the mark but he did admit there would be a meeting to try and work out what has gone wrong with their live scores results in recent weeks.
"We will have to look at a few things and have a few words and try to move on from there," he said.
"I think that the earlier we kind of have a speak together about it, the better it will be."
"The only thing that needs to be said is that we need to stick together at this time, keep going until the end of the season and keep working hard for each other. There is not a crisis in any way."
Spurs are still well-placed to claim fourth but talk of boss Redknapp leaving at the end of the season to take the England job may have unsettled the squad, who looked well on course for third or fourth only a month ago.
